Plenty of work. Still feels harder than it should.

From the outside, things look good. Jobs coming in, a solid team, money moving through the business. But underneath it, something's not sitting right, and you can't quite see what it is, let alone fix it.

No one on site sees how hard you're actually carrying it. You're the one who loses sleep when a job goes sideways. You can't show it in front of the team, and you're too proud to admit it to anyone else.

So you try to fix it the way most people do: new systems, longer hours, another conversation with the team. It helps for a minute. Then you're back to square one.

It's rarely just a time problem, a team problem, or even a money problem. Plenty of businesses turn good money and still have nothing left at the end of the month. It's that you can't see what's happening across the whole business at once. When you can't see it, you're guessing. That's where the stress comes from.
